The Morrisville Chamber has been in
business for twenty years. The chamber
was established in 1990 when the population of Morrisville, North Carolina was 5,208. Today it is estimated that there are close to 17,000 residents. While the average age has remained the same, there has been a large swing in the race. In 1990 it was estimated that only 9% of the population was Asian. In a recent survey of Cedar Fork Elementary, of the 277 students taking the 5th grade test, 38% were of Asian descent. To say the population is diverse is an understatement.
Morrisville, North Carolina is centrally located in the Triangle, maintains a smart population, and is poised to become one of the best places to live and work in the next twenty years. In 1990 the community was primarily business, and in recent years we have grown in to a better match with an increased number of residential units. This works out perfectly for the estimated 35,000 day timers who choose to live and work in this community.
