Members Utilizing Members (MUM)
|
MUM is a program designed to encourage members to utilize other member businesses when shopping for goods and services. By 'shopping' with just ten different member businesses over the course of one year, you will receive a discount on your annual membership dues and/or event fees. It's a simple way to cut costs and support local businesses at the same time!
Here's how it works:
Download the MUM signature form and start keeping track of Chamber members that you do business with. Whether it's a restaurant, builder, business consultant, or veterinarian, write down the company's name and have a company representative sign and date your form. When you have ten different companies represented on your form, submit it to the Chamber (along with a copy of your receipts) and receive a credit of 5% of your membership dues. You may either apply the credit towards your membership dues or toward the event of your choice (with the exception of golf classics and the Annual Meeting.)
Members may complete a maximum of two MUM signature forms in one year, by doing business with 20 unique companies, and thus receiving a 10% credit towards membership dues.
