Morrisville, NC – The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Aldrich Barbour to its Board of Directors.
Emily currently serves as vice president and chief development officer at the Rex Healthcare Foundation. She is responsible for fundraising and development at Rex Healthcare. She joined Rex from Hartsook Companies, Inc. where she served as senior fundraising counsel to clients primarily in the southeast. Prior to that, Emily served as N.C. State Student Aid Association’s (also known as the Wolfpack Club) associate director and director for the Office of Institutional Advancement at Meredith College. Emily has consistently helped clients exceed goals and objectives through consulting services and is a nationally recognized speaker.
Emily is involved in numerous additional activities throughout the Triangle including serving on the Board of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at N.C. State, the Association of Fundraising Professionals as past president, and other non-profit organizations. Emily earned her B.A. from North Carolina State University where she is now a guest lecturer.
