(Morrisville, N.C.) The Research Triangle Park's local business advocacy organization, the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce, helped member company Buehler Motor, Inc. celebrate its new U.S. headquarters and North American Technical Center with a ribbon cutting event October 14, 2009.

A global operation with six production plants in Europe, Mexico, and China, Buehler Motor recently moved into its new 13,838-square-foot space on Aviation Parkway within Southport Business Park, which will provide prototype development and testing for the company's customized mechatronic drive solutions in addition to serving as its base for North American operations.

"Having a respected global operation such as Buehler Motor choose to stay in Morrisville and to expand its North American hub of operations speaks volumes about the supportive business climate and infrastructure in our community," said Sharon Rosche', Morrisville Chamber of Commerce president.

According to Rosche', Morrisville currently boasts close to 3,000,000 square feet of Class A space, and over 1,000,000 square feet of flex office and industrial space shared by global companies in various growing industries such as IT, pharmaceutical and green technology.

Approximately 70 people attended the Buehler Motor open house and ribbon cutting, including the Mayor of Morrisville, town leaders, members of the Board of Directors for the Chamber, and local businesspeople supporting their peers. The Chamber hosts multiple ribbon cuttings each month, in addition to presenting numerous networking and educational events throughout the year.
